COMMENT FROM RESIDENT (unedited):
The following is in response to last resident comment
about the blowers:

QUESTION: Did you call the landscape company directly
and ask them to stop blowing near your door and car?
If not, you might be pleasantly surprised at the
results if you go directly to the source with your
request instead of going through Merit or the Board.
If you are specific, courteous and professional, I'm
sure they would rather accommodate your request than
be presented with a claim or loose their right to use
the blowers. The following is their contact
information taken from Merit's Website:

LANDSCAPING/GARDENING:
   Dan's Landscape Service, Inc. 714-241-9591
   SS&K Landscape Maintenance 714-632-7069

COMMENT: Blowers are not considered illegal in
Orange County. I think the blowers can be useful when
used properly and with respect for other people's
private property.

REQUEST/SUGGESTION TO THE GARDNERS/HOA BOARD & MERIT:
In fact, by way of this posting, I am requesting the
following:
I understand that the gardeners need to use the rake
in some areas, however, instead of raking the leaves
out of the ivy (tearing it up) and onto the sidewalk,
can you please simply ask the gardeners to blow the
leaves out of the ivy, onto the sidewalk and then rake
it directly into the netting used to drag it to the
trash. It will leave the area with a cleaner look and
will also save them a lot of time and effort.
Thank you!

COMMENT FROM RESIDENT (unedited):
I am tired of the Landscaping company using lawn blowers
near my front door and around my vehicle. All they do
is blow the dirt inside my home and all over my clean
car, making a huge mess for me to clean up and re-wash
my car. If anyone else feels this should stop, please
contact Merit. I have emailed Michael, Joe and Irene -
but until more than one homeowner complains, they won't
do anything. Please help me out, and the other
homeowners also.
